Project Description

This project offers an all-in-one solution for launching, managing, and promoting memecoins, built on a dedicated OP Stack Layer 2. It includes a memecoin launcher that enables users to create their own memecoins in less than 10 seconds for under $1. A new compression and storage mechanism has been developed to store memecoin images entirely on-chain. The platform provides detailed memecoin analytics, offering insights and trends across the ecosystem. Each memecoin generated through the dApp receives a dynamic page, displaying comprehensive information about the token. Additionally, ERC-4626 vaults are available where users can deposit their memecoins to earn yield, along with a "Go Viral" section designed to help users effectively promote and spread their memecoins.

How it's Made

The project was built using a robust stack of technologies, combining both backend and frontend tools to deliver a seamless experience. On the backend, Solidity was used for smart contracts, Hardhat for development and testing, and Ethers.js for blockchain interactions. OP Stack was leveraged to create a Layer 2 solution optimized for memecoins. For testing and debugging, Tenderly's virtual testnets were utilized. Conduit was employed for running the chain, and Superform (ERC 4626) was used to build vaults for yield generation. Blockscout was integrated as the blockchain explorer, and Node.js served as the server-side runtime.

On the frontend, the application was built with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation, Web3.js for Ethereum blockchain interactions, and React.js for building the user interface. TypeScript was used throughout the project for type safety and enhanced development experience, and Farcaster frames were integrated to add on-chain social features.

The project was deployed across multiple chains, including Optimism, Fraxtal, Mode, Base, Metal, and 4lolz. Innovative work was done with on-chain image compression and storage, ensuring that memecoin images could be stored efficiently. The dynamic token pages and "Go Viral" section are particularly hacky, as they automatically generate and update content based on real-time data from the memecoin ecosystem.
