This public good bridges off-chain governance, prevalent in both small communities and major DeFi protocols with billions of TVL, with on-chain, automatically executable actions.

Our unique approach empowers anyone to link transactions to the outcome of a vote. This includes DAO/proposal authors or any individual user who wishes to respond conditionally to the result of a governance vote.

Our method is independent of oracle dispute resolution processes, which typically involve posting funds as a collateral bond.
How it's Made
ActionForge fetches governance proposal data from Snapshot.org API, allowing any user to intuitively attach onchain transactions (actions) to possible outcomes of any voting proposal. ActionForge users can use any of our integrated transaction types with well-known protocols, or some simple generic transaction types such as transfer any ERC20 token of their choice.
We're using the following Chainlink services:
- Automation to automate the execution of said actions, after the proposal voting window closes
- Functions to query Snapshot's API and trustlessly bring the governance results onchain
After our contract parses the result of a gov proposal, we execute the action that corresponds to the winning option. Action types currently supported are:
- transfer ERC20
- swap ETH -> DAI and deposit to sDAI
- deposit ETH to AAVE and mint GHO
