ADS-B WEB3 is a decentralized flight tracking software that provides real-time flight tracking and live fleet tracking of airlines using RTL-SDR hardware and dump1090. The software utilizes its own ADS-B Web3 software to feed data to a decentralized polybase database, ensuring that the data is distributed across the network and more secure. One of the key features of ADS-B WEB3 is its carbon emissions calculator, which allows users to compare the carbon footprint of different modes of transport. The software also provides airport flight information such as departures and arrivals, making it an indispensable tool for travelers. In addition, ADS-B WEB3 allows airport schedule data entry and offers flight cancellation or delay insurance, which provides users with greater peace of mind when booking flights.

The insurance feature is a P2P insurance platform powered by the UMA Optimistic Oracle V3, which allows anyone to purchase or offer insurance for sale. This unique feature allows individuals to create and sell their own insurance policies, which are then backed by reliable and transparent market data. How it's Made

ADS-B WEB3 is a decentralized flight tracking software that is cross-chain and works on multiple networks, including Gnosis Chiado, Optimism Goerli, Polygon ZkEVM, Scroll Network, Filecoin EVM, and Goerli. The software was built using next js and tailwindcss, two modern web development technologies that ensure a responsive and user-friendly interface. The data is provided by openskynetworks and ADS-B WEB3's own network of ADS-B data feeders, which are responsible for collecting and transmitting the aircraft data to the decentralized polybase database.

There are two types of ADS-B WEB3 feeders: the open to anyone version and the verified feeder. The verified feeder is powered by Optimism attestations to verify the authenticity of the feeders. When the verified feed link is selected as the data source for live tracking or fleet tracking, only verified data will be displayed. The feeders use a script to connect to dump1090, which is a software-defined radio decoder for Mode S and ADS-B signals.

ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) is a surveillance technology used in aviation that enables aircraft to transmit their identity, position, altitude, and velocity to ground stations and other aircraft.
