ArtiFi

ArtiFi is an innovative platform that empowers professional artists to showcase and monetize their artwork through the use of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). Artists can upload their artwork to the platform and mint them as NFTs, which are unique digital assets stored on the blockchain.

To ensure the security and transparency of the platform, ArtiFi leverages the NFT.storage/Web3.storage solution provided by IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) to store and retrieve the content and metadata associated with those NFTs. This approach eliminates the need for our platform to store the metadata ourselves, making the platform more secure and decentralized.

Once these NFTs are uploaded, the general public can easily access and view them on the Artifi platform. And If someone wishes to support an artist's work, they can donate any amount of money of their choice in the form of APE tokens directly to the owner of that NFT. APE token is the currency used for donations and bidding on NFTs on the platform.

If an NFT owner decides to sell their artwork/NFT, the public can bid for it in order to acquire that NFT. The highest bidder will ultimately become the new owner of the NFT. To process these bidding transactions and transfer of donations made by users, ArtiFi utilizes the Filecoin virtual machine to seamlessly power them.

Furthermore, ArtiFi allows users to search for and explore NFTs by specific artists of their choice . This enables individuals to easily find and access the NFTs created by their favorite artists.

In summary by leveraging blockchain technology, ArtiFi ensures that all transactions on the platform are transparent and secure. The use of NFTs, IPFS, APE tokens, and the Filecoin virtual machine contributes to the overall integrity and reliability of the platform.

This project is made using Next JS, Tailwind CSS , Javascript, HTML and Solidity languages and we have used NFT.storage/Web3.0 storage provided by IPFS in order to store the contents and metadata of the NFTs uploaded by artists. we have used Filecoin virtual machine in order to process the donations, bidding and transfer of NFT ownership made over our platform. In order to make donations and bidding we have used APE coin as the currency of our Dapp . We have integrated ENS in order to display the ownership of the NFTs.
