Project Description

For us, talent is the most under-utilised asset in the world. Actually, finding talent is difficult. Finding great Talent, is even more difficult.

Nowadays there are a lot of shit talkers out there in the ecosystem. People think that for posting cool stuff on social media they are actual builders, but when the times come, they lack skills. But…What if we can have a proof of skill? ✨

BuilderScore is a transparent reputation system for builders where it qualifies users with a score based on their on-chain and off-chain activities.

BuilderScore gives a detailed overview on a users skills, their wallet interactions and their Social reputation. This is possible by analyzing wallet history, such as protocols interacted, contracts deployed and token holdings, social endorsement on Lens Protocols thanks to their open actions (smart posts) and GitHub activity.

How it's Made

  • Lens Protocol: We believe social capital is equal, or even more important that economic capital. That’s why we implemented endorsement between profiles via Open Actions (Smart Posts). Now, you can increase the social reputation, and indeed the Builder Score, of other lens profiles by just clicking a button.

An example: Stani.lens is a well known builder in the ecosystem. He can click on other profiles via Open Actions, and endorse them to help them get credibility and social reputation.

  • AAVE Grants DAO: AAVE is one of the most used DeFI protocols in the ecosystem, and, by doing some research, we can conclude that most of their users are great builders.

We are pulling data and getting all users who borrowed $GHO. They will get extra points in their Builder Score. Not only this, we also check the amount of staked $AAVE in the protocol and if the user is a GHO Passport Holder.

Apart from calculating the score, we also show a whole overview of the AAVE Protocol interactions from the user.

  • 1inch: To track $GHO, other ERC tokens and the protocols that the user most interacted with, we enhance our app with the 1inch Developer Portal API. This was an easy and simple way to pull the on-chain data that we needed to calculate part of the Builder Score.

  • Polygon Id: We took advantage of one of the most powerful Digital identities out there. Polygon Id providers

Polygon id brings together a variety of digital identities in one place, so we pull data from many of these verification systems users have and based on this, we give an overall score to polygon id, which will be added to the builder total score.

Basically, every identity providers has a score, and the Polygon Id badge is a sum of all of them. This way, we make an exclusive sub-score for Polygon Id, that will be taken into account to the main Builder Score.

  • Push Protocol: Having access to give rewards to exclusive users based on certain conditions of the blockchain is one of the best things about this ecosystem.

Thanks to Push Protocol technology, we can give users with a Builder Score +1000, access to a private chat so they can share their knowledge with pother builders.

  • ENS: We use ENS Sub-Domains to give builders with an score of +1000, access to claim a sub-domain called “bs1000.{Your_name}.eth”. This domain, gives them access to the Push Protocol private char for experienced builders.

We leverage social identities and on-chain data to create a ~~token~~ reputation gated community.

  • Worldcoin: We give extra points for each builder’s score if they have their identity verificated with world Id since we believe Worldcoin users are actual builders in this ecosystem.
