Hackathon organizers often struggle with distributing rewards. How can you fairly reward each member based on their contribution? The contributors know best, so let's find a way to reward their efforts. Using a combination of the MTE application, Safe and Safe Module, Snapshot, Push and Github a mechanism whereby contributors vote on how valuable each contributors contribution was and are able to claim funds accordingly is created.

We used safe for the address where funds could be sent to for rewarding contributors. Contributors are able to claim funds from this safe based on how many slice tokens they had. Slice is a particular type of token created by the Merge to Earn application that we built on top of. This application is pushed into a Github repository and creates a Github bot that is able to view actions made on the repository as well as send these actions to Snapshot and Safe. The slice allows contributors to vote on a snapshot on how valuable their contributions are and receive more slices. Slices allow contributors to claim funds from the Safe. The slices can be used with Push Protocol to notify of bugs.
