Problem: Web3 games, where players can earn real money, face some big challenges. First, there's not enough clear and simple information about the games. Players find it hard to understand how to play, win, and manage their in-game items. Buying and selling these items is often complicated and confusing. Also, starting to play these games can cost a lot of money, which can scare away potential players. Security issues are another problem, with players worrying about losing their valuable in-game items. Lastly, the rules and regulations for these games aren't clear, adding more uncertainty for players. To make these games more user-friendly and popular, we need better information, simpler ways to manage game items, and clearer rules and regulations.

There are plenty of tools that provide game reviews for gamers (e.g., Steam in web2). However, gamers still lack web3 analytics tools and game marketplaces, which we attribute to the still-evolving field of blockchain and web3

Our solution: direct3 is a game launchpad and social platform for web3 gamers.

Right now, we're focusing on a gaming launchpad and a community that allows web3 players to come together and play and earn together. direct3 also includes social features such as messaging (via blockchain), audio/video calls and communities. We were inspired by the idea of Discord, only we are against data collection :)

We're using XMTP protocol for web3 communication, Huddle01 SDK for audio and video calls and Polybase for storing data in blockchain. Also we're using Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vercel, Heroku as a main tech stack.

To work with the Ethereum blockchain, we use native web3.js, Etherspot.js. We're also using IPFS for storing data in blockchain.
