Use case for the hackathon: End-user uploads files to Filecoin storage through Lighthouse provider via Telegram bot & WebApp interfaces.

Problem:

• Telegram Cloud is centralized. Ex.: If you lose your account - you lose all your data
• It’s slow (upload/download)
• File size limit of 2Gb (which is pretty good for a messenger app, but still not sufficient)
• No guaranteed storage period. Your data may become unavailable at any time

Solution: A decentralized Filecoin storage via Telegram interface that is truly yours. Store and share ANY Files of ANY Size for ANY Time you need.

• Accessible from everywhere for ANY app or service
• Keep track of all your uploaded Filecoin files (local index)
• Private and Secure: A)we don’t have an access to you files; B)dApp runs completely on users device

Value Proposition: Convenient (quick & simple) access to Filecoin's decentralized storage to ~1B Telegram users.

Next Steps (after hackathon):

• Integration in CTRL Wallet App
• Shared storage for Telegram Communities
• Built-in encryption (encrypt file before uploading it to Filecoin)
• Backup all data from Telegram account to Filecoin storage (chat history, photos and other media)
