FlexPay transforms freelance management for institutions with automated smart contracts, secure identity verification via Worldcoin, and seamless payment processing. It ensures timely, transparent compensation, streamlines contract creation, and enhances trust between organizations and freelancers.

How Paylancer is Built Paylancer is a decentralized payment system designed to streamline weekly payments for freelancers. We built this platform using a robust tech stack that combines smart contracts with a user-friendly web application, ensuring a secure and efficient payment management system for clients and freelancers.

Tech Stack:

Smart Contracts: We used Solidity and Hardhat to develop smart contracts deployed on the Base-Sepolia chain, automating payment processes and ensuring funds are securely held. Verification and Security: For identity verification, we integrated WorldID, which allows freelancers to verify their identity as real humans before accessing funds. Web Application: The frontend is built using React and Next.js with TypeScript, providing a responsive and intuitive interface for users. Additional Integrations: We incorporated WalletConnect for easy wallet interactions and BlockScout for verifying smart contracts and tracking on-chain activities. Core Features:

Organizations can fund and lock their accounts in advance, giving freelancers confidence that their payments are secured. Freelancers can trigger payments at any time after logging their work, ensuring timely compensation. The platform promotes financial inclusion by enabling unbanked individuals to participate in the global financial system through blockchain payments. All financial activity is recorded on-chain for transparency and accountability. We use ENS for simplified and secure organization registration. Workflow:

Employer Registration: Organizations register and fund their accounts. Employee Registration: Freelancers register using ENS and verify their identities with WorldID. Work Registration: Freelancers log their workdays. Payment Trigger: Freelancers can initiate the payment process anytime after work registration, ensuring prompt payment. Notable Implementations: One particularly innovative aspect of Paylancer is the combination of smart contracts with WalletConnect, allowing users to seamlessly interact with their wallets while maintaining security. Additionally, we leveraged on-chain transparency through BlockScout, enabling users to verify smart contracts and track all financial activities.
