Project Description

GHO-NPL empowers you to make purchases without needing to sell your valuable crypto assets. With this payment method, you can pay later by borrowing GHO, using your existing crypto holdings as collateral. This allows you to keep your cryptocurrency investments intact, while simultaneously accessing funds for your everyday needs. This service facilitate seamless crypto transactions, offering innovative solutions for both shoppers and merchants.

When a shopper reaches the checkout page, they have the option to select "GHO Now Pay Later" as their payment method. Upon choosing this option, the user is directed to log into (Account Abstraction) the GHO-NPL payment portal. Once logged in, the user is prompted to lock one of their crypto assets as collateral in order to borrow GHO for the purchasing amount. They select a crypto asset from their wallet based on the lock APY rates and specify the amount to be locked. If this amount satisfies the required collateral ratio, the user can proceed with the payment.

The transaction request is then sent to the user's wallet. The user confirms this transaction from their wallet, finalizing the purchase. The GHO amount borrowed for the purchase is transferred directly to the merchant's wallet. At any time, the user can repay the borrowed GHO, along with any accrued interest, through the GNPL payment portal. Similarly, the crypto asset used as collateral, including any interest earned, can be withdrawn back to the user's wallet.

@GHO NOW PAY LATER is a decentralized application leveraging GHO, the Aave Protocol's native stablecoin. Our app is engineered to facilitate seamless crypto transactions, offering innovative solutions for both merchants and users.
