ghoTunes builds Spotify playlists from music NFT collectors data.

It's a way of decentralizing music discovery while meeting users where they are -> Spotify

ghoTunes adds a decentralized discovery layer on top of already centralized Spotify's discovery tools, as opposed to their closed editorial playlists, viral charts, trends, etc. This leverages collector's assets adding a new value proposition for their NFTs. We often expect founders and artists to generate value for our assets, but because if their composability collectors can add value themselves and monetize that layer without extracting value from the creators or builders. In this case it adds a discovery and curational layer that has value both for artists and music fans independent of the assets intrinsic value. Taste has value

ghoTunes uses collected music NFT data in order to curate lists of songs from Spotify and create personalized playlsits based on any collector's taste

Collectors are rewarded for having good taste as users will purchase with GHO these playlists that are autogenerated, incentivizing collectors to collect with intention.

ghoTunes experiments with users' wallets as a digital representation of themselves, a collect is a like with intention, defining culture and taste

This project uses Family connectkit for wallet integration, spinamp-sdk for getting aggregated music NFT information and Spotify API for generating playlists.

It consists on a React frontend and a Node.js backend. The NFT data cannot be parsed directly into Spotify songs, so we use a custom algorithm to search and sort songs and then create the playlists.

For payments we use GHO, which being a stablecoin is more user friendly and easier for onboarding. After payment is done, a playlist is created and added to the user's spotify account
