Governance Guardian is a platform designed to leverage World ID for enhancing transparency and security in various governance-related processes. This application aims to serve as a versatile tool for democratic voting, DAO governance, and petition systems, among other governance activities.

DAO Governance: Confirms participant identities in DAOs while maintaining privacy. Petition Systems: Validates unique support for petitions, adding credibility.

Our MVP, Governance Guardian, will feature a frontend constructed with HTML to ensure maximum compatibility and ease of design. The backend is powered by a Flask web application, chosen for its simplicity and rapid development capabilities, making it perfect for quickly iterating on our MVP. We've selected Notion as our database solution for the MVP phase due to its flexible data structuring and user-friendly interface, which allows for swift modifications as feedback is received.

For the critical aspect of identity verification, we're integrating the World ID SDK to provide robust proof of personhood functionality. This integration is central to our platform, reinforcing the security and authenticity of each vote or petition signature, aligning with our core mission of enhancing transparency and trust in digital governance processes.
