Project Description

We are developing a next-gen resume platform that saves resumes in markup language and is stored on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). Each resume can be accessed via a human-readable address (username.go.cv domains) which we will map via ENS. This are subdomains that will be accessible on web2 and web3 (https://wagmi.tips/guides/ens-subdomain/)

Our solution employs AI for the initial parsing to minimize adoption friction, extracting and structuring resume information into a consistent and machine-readable format. This transformation facilitates easier updates, improved data interoperability, and enhanced search capabilities across resume platforms. By storing this data on IPFS, we ensure decentralized and resilient storage, immune to single points of failure and censorship. Users retain full control over their data, with the ability to update and manage their resumes in real-time, providing a dynamic and up-to-date professional profile.

The use of ENS for mapping resumes provides a memorable and easily shareable address (e.g., username.go.cv), simplifying the process of distributing professional profiles. This integration supports the creation of a decentralized professional identity system that is secure, efficient, and universally accessible.

How it's Made

The technologies used include:

React: For building the front end, providing a responsive and interactive user interface. Galadriel: AI-powered resume and media data classification and parsing Filecoin: FVM and Lighthouse (for encrypted permanent credential storage) Fleek: For seamless integration with IPFS, providing decentralized storage for the resumes. ENS: We are making id.cv ENS ready and provide subdomains on the ENS name for users.

We do a couple of interesting things: making content available on web2 and web3. We also make a very large usecase example for ENS subdomains at scale. We are also creating the foundation that will disrupt resumes and profiles being monopolized by giving users a way to control their resumes and giving programmatic access via API to recruiters and jobsites
