Karma Vouch

In the web3 space, we often interact with other users and identify them through their wallet addresses, but their address alone does not have any proof that the person is legitimate and wont be a scam. Which is why we have created a DAO system using GHO token where we can vouch for the legitimacy of another eth address. More people vouching for a particular address means the owner of the address is legit and can be trusted. When an address is vouched for, its karma value increases on chain based on the legitimacy of their voucher, meaning a person without karma vouching for another person will have minimal value, but a well known person vouching for someone will have more value.

Moreover, the person vouching needs to hold GHO tokens and must be a member of the DAO, which is where Facilitators come in.

The project uses Vite + React and TailwindCSS for the frontend. To connect and interact with our GHO Smart Contract we are using wagmi, viem and connectkit. We have developed an NPM package containing a React component that anyone can import into their websites or projects to add the necessasary components to implement our vouching mechanism.
