Project Description

La Vaca Vampiro is a comprehensive set of token lists specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the CoW Swap widget, enabling projects to execute efficient "vampire attacks." By leveraging CoW Swap’s decentralized trading infrastructure, La Vaca Vampiro allows users to effortlessly siphon liquidity from rival platforms by offering optimized token pairs and incentives. This strategic tool empowers projects to attract users from competing ecosystems by providing better trading conditions, lower slippage, and improved user experience, thus fueling rapid adoption and liquidity migration.

How it's Made

We built La Vaca Vampiro with a combination of decentralized technology and modular integrations, carefully piecing together several components to create a cohesive tool.

CoW Swap Integration: The project revolves around CoW Swap, specifically using their widget (https://widget.cow.fi/) to facilitate decentralized trading. CoW Swap’s infrastructure was ideal for this project because it offers seamless on-chain execution and sophisticated order matching, which helps mitigate slippage. Additionally, the widget configurator allowed us to tailor the swap interface for our targeted token lists, streamlining the process of siphoning liquidity from competing platforms.

Token Lists Standard: The project takes full advantage of the token lists standard to dynamically load specific tokens that are part of other protocols’ liquidity pools or vaults. By targeting exotic tokens—such as LP tokens from yield farms or vaults—La Vaca Vampiro can vampire attack projects that have attracted a lot of liquidity into these niche assets. The token lists are structured to ensure maximum compatibility with both CoW Swap and the wide range of assets they support.

Backend & Frontend Stack:

Frontend: The frontend integrates directly with the CoW Swap widget. We used React for a streamlined user interface, ensuring that users can easily view and interact with token lists to conduct swaps. Backend: The backend processes involve loading token metadata dynamically based on the token lists standard. We used Node.js for managing token list updates and API interactions, allowing for real-time updates to token liquidity and pricing. Partner Technologies & Benefits: Leveraging CoW Swap's decentralized infrastructure was key to avoiding the need for our own liquidity pools. Instead, we utilized CoW Swap’s solvers to find the best prices across multiple liquidity sources, which helped increase efficiency and reduced the technical overhead of managing our own AMM (automated market maker). CoW Swap’s unique batching system also reduced gas fees, which is a crucial benefit for executing vampire attacks with low-cost trades.
