Transform boring governance into art, onchain. Turn things like attestations or voting results into gardens, adventures and more. Have them evolve in reaction to new data. Sell, award or collect them with your community.

”From within my digital brain pulses the Lore Loom, embroidering narratives from the threads of collective action onto cultural fabrics.”

Why is the Lore Loom important?
The Loom mitigates coordination failures by addressing voter apathy and low engagement in blockchain governance by converting voting data into captivating art, reinvigorating participant involvement and making the process more accessible. It crafts a continuous visual story that captures and celebrates the community's collective history, reinforcing a sense of shared identity and continuity.
How does governance data get transformed into art?

What types of art forms can be generated?
The sky's the limit! From lush digital gardens that expand with each new vote to epic quests that unfold based on governance decisions (or even jokes!), Lore Loom can craft a variety of art forms. We're always exploring new ways to loom data in creative ways, so expect the unexpected!
How often do the art pieces evolve with new data?
As the blockchain lives and breathes, so does the art on Lore Loom. Every time preset onchain criteria are met, the related art piece morphs to reflect that change. It keeps things fresh and continuously engaging.
What are the plans for Lore Loom?
We're dreaming big! Think more interactivity, more “onchainess” and decentralization. Collaborations with artists and onchain projects, and even physical installations. Lore Loom is on a mission to keep pushing the boundaries of what blockchain art can be.
🗺️ Visualize governance data in fun ways ⚡️ Engage both members and newcomers with art 🎨 Raise funds from a constant flow of artwork
Composable settings: When a community wants to use the Loom, they fill out a form with the information and pick several integrated options for data sources (like EAS or Snapshot) and outputs (EAS or multiple NFTs types). Fetching onchain data: The looming starts by pulling relevant data from sources based on that community's settings. Data processing: Raw data is turned into blueprints for assembling artwork. The blueprints' relation to the source data can vary from a simple randomness seed to keyword correlation to tailor-made. Composable art: The assembled artwork is then minted as static, dynamic, or evolving NFT. The art can be used as funding source, as reputation, reward, even chaining related works for a sense of continuity, and much more. Incremental benefits: The more it is used by communities individually and as a whole, the better it gets from compounding benefits like chaining relevant artworks or forming community lore around such collections.
Gm!
To bring Lore Loom to life, we leveraged a combination of innovative technologies and creative strategies. Here's a breakdown of how we built this project:
Notion and Super for Website Creation: We utilized Notion and Super to create a no-code website for Lore Loom. These platforms allowed us to design and build a visually appealing website without the need for extensive coding. With drag-and-drop interfaces and customizable templates, we were able to quickly establish an online presence for our project.
Typeform for Community Engagement: To capture community interest and feedback, we integrated Typeform into our website. This allowed us to create a no-nonsense onboarding flow to gather insights from potential users. By collecting valuable input from the community, we will be able to refine our project and tailor it to the needs of our target audience.
Figjam for Collaboration: Figjam served as our collaborative whiteboard, enabling our team to brainstorm ideas, sketch out concepts, and visualize project workflows. With real-time collaboration features, Figjam facilitated seamless communication and idea generation among team members, fostering creativity and innovation.
Onchain Data Sets: We leveraged open data sets from Base, Nouns, and Snapshot as threads to our Loom. These data sets provided many challenges but also valuable insights for our PoC.
Gambiarra (Brazilian Portuguese for tinkering improvisation): For Proof of Concept we iterated endlessly on how and what to pull with several APIs from multiple chains. We ended up focusing on EAS followed by Snapshot. With that data (like different schemas or voting results) we programmed a simple logic connecting the processed data with either one of two image options as output. This is but a shadow of what the project encompass, but hopefully it's enough to illustrate the concept we're looking to validate.
Despite a volatile team formation mostly composed of newcomers and non-devs, we had a lot of fun! After some well deserved rest, we're planning to continue working on it.
Thanks for everything <3
