Mercle

Mercle is building membership infrastructure for web3 communities. We are building tools that provide contributor analytics with actionable insights without switching existing platforms (discord, discourse, snapshot).

The Mercle UI offers web3 communities the ability to

• Spin up a new DAO on any existing framework (Snapshot+ Gnosis Safe, Compound governor etc.). Copy any existing community to create your own. (Bankless, Nouns, Aavegotchi etc.)
• Create reputation system and distribute rewards NFT’s, PAOPs and SBTs to contributors via emails, discord filters, engagement activity, etc.
• Allow contributors to explore members and stay updated with the community's most important information/action items. Eg: weekly TLDR, members directory, etc.

Communities use Mercle because

• Simplifies new contributor onboarding.
• Provides a single landing page for contributors to get all the important info about the DAO and actionable next steps to get involved with the community. ( for non-crypto users)
• To create an organisation view and member analytics.

We are using:

8. Web3modal for interaction with wallet

We have a lot of data about communities/DAOs (members name, tags, twitter, discord etc.) that are being stored on mongodb and aws s3, which we are planning to move to IPFS for a more distributed architecture. Doing so will make our approach to DAOs and communities more decentralized and easy for clients to never lose their data.

We are currently using Web3Storage to upload all of our NFT resources to IPFS.
