Project Description
The objective of the project is to solve the technical challenge of being able to mint an NFT on the Near network through Farcaster Frames.
Frames have allowed SocialFi users to interact with blockchain in a user-friendly and efficient way. By removing all the complexity of cross-chain interoperations, Frames made Warpcast a schelling point for all the ecosystems.
This project brought Aurora “the L2 of Near” into the ecosystem, users will be able to mint a NFT on Aurora just by clicking a button on Warpcast Frame. It is the bridge for users on Aurora and Farcaster, enriching the whole SocialFi community.
How it's Made
For the minting process, we used NEAR’s Layer 2 solution Aurora, which is compatible with the EVM. The project uses Frames to retrieve the user's wallet with their identifier, ensuring that the message is not impersonated upon reaching the server, and connects with the Aurora environment to deliver an NFT into this wallet.
