The ProtonPack project is a DeFi initiative that harnesses the capabilities of staked Aave (stkAAVE) and GHO, Aave's stablecoin, to create a collective pool that offers users reduced borrowing costs. It's a platform that facilitates direct interaction with the Aave protocol, akin to how Morpho operates, but with a distinct emphasis on providing discounts rather than bypassing Aave's standard rates.

The ProtonPack smart contract is designed to work on top of the Aave protocol, leveraging its lending and borrowing functions while adding a layer of management for individualized loan buckets. This allows users to have their own segregated accounts within the contract, tracking their deposits, debts, and rewards separately. Integration with Aave Protocol

ProtonPack uses Aave's functions for the core DeFi operations:

• Depositing Collateral: Users can deposit collateral, which is then used by the contract to interact with Aave's supply function.

• Borrowing Assets: Users can borrow against their collateral directly through the contract, which calls Aave's borrow function.

• Repaying Loans: The contract allows users to repay their loans by calling Aave's repay function.

• Withdrawing Deposits: Users can withdraw their collateral, assuming they maintain a healthy loan-to-value (LTV) ratio. Extra Management Layer

• Individual Loan Buckets: Each user's deposits and debts are tracked separately, allowing for personalized management of loans and collateral.

• Fee Accrual: The contract charges an additional fee on top of Aave's interest, which is managed internally and added to the total debt.

• Reward System: It includes a unique feature where users can repay others' debts in exchange for a portion of their collateral, incentivizing the maintenance of a healthy LTV ratio within the system.
