Rails

Rails is a simple transaction visualiser designed to assist users in their DeFi journey

Rails

Project Description

Rails is a web application that educates and informs new and existing users, giving them confidence to use the DeFi protocols. It helps to solve problems of understanding, trust and uncertainty by providing transparency to network activity. It achieves this by explaining onchain events with simple language and interactive, graphical map-like visualisations rendered from verifiable activity. Rails also serves as a tool for developers to support and educate their users.

How it's Made

Rails uses Python to fetch data from the etherscan API. It then packs it all up into individual CSV files for each EOA and then we run some simple JS to process the CSV and render the data to the front end with simple CSS and HTML. Users can then navigate to their EOA using a simple search box and from their see the visualisations of their DeFi activity. For the purposes of this hackathon I have focused on the Morpho Blue protocol.
