Raven

In Raven, restaurant owners are able to upload information about their restaurants, including the name, a short description, a profile picture, and the address. Additionally, they can add dishes to their restaurant's menu as Lens posts. When adding a new dish, owners will set a price, allowing consumers to collect the post as if they had ordered the dish. Once a dish is collected by a user, they can enjoy the meal and use the Lens smart post action to rate it on a scale from 1 to 5, creating a verified proof of taste of the meal. Users can see different restaurants displayed on a map and tap on each one to see their menu.

This project uses Privy email login lowering the entry barriers for users and restaurant owners to access into the platform. Once the user is logged in, the app asks to link a Lens profile, users and restaurant owners can link their existing Lens account or create a new one from scratch. With all of this done, the users is all set up to interact with the platform. Users can do two open actions, collecting the post as if they were ordering the meal and create reviews using the smart-posts. Leveraging Lens Smart posts, users once they’ve collected a restaurant post they will be able to create a review on that post, creating a proof of taste. Behind the scenes, we deployed a custom smart contract that reads and stores the rating that the user has entered.
