Smartvest

Smartvest is a crypto investment research platform which contains a dashboard that has data such as the prices of various cryptocurrencies, the yield rates of USDC on various lending platforms and the latest news from the crypto space. Furthermore, the application contains an AI copilot which uses the data available on the user's dashboard as context. This allows a more efficient and simpler crypto investing experience as the AI copilot can see everything that the user can see on their dashboard.

The frontend design was built of an existing template from an open source Github repository. I then integrated the crypto price data by connecting to various APIs such as CoinGecko, DeFiLlama and CryptoPanic to provide the price data, yield data and news feed respectively. I then built a python FastAPI server which connects to an instance of OpenAI's GPT-3.5 model which allowed me to create a chatbot widget on the frontend which makes API calls to the server to conversate with the AI copilot. In addition, relevant data on the dashboard is sent along with each prompt request to provide context to the AI copilot. The way I retrieve data from the APIs is quite inefficient due to the limited time, but I'm looking to improve that aspect in the near future.
