Project Description
This project is a forward-thinking solution designed on Celo, an open platform that makes financial tools accessible to anyone with a mobile phone. Our platform is designed to transform the philanthropic landscape in developing and emerging markets.
We employ Celo's light client protocol to ensure compatibility with mobile devices in resource-constrained environments. With each donation, a new transaction is created on the Celo network, and through the use of smart contracts, funds are transferred directly from the donor to the recipient.
The platform is set apart by its focus on direct engagement and complete transparency. Every transaction is traceable, allowing donors to track their contributions from initiation to final use. This trust layer is essential, considering the philanthropic sector's ongoing struggles with trust and efficiency.
The platform also creates opportunities for dialogue and interaction between donors and recipients. Through the decentralized nature of the Celo network, donors and recipients can connect directly, leading to a stronger sense of community and shared purpose.

How it's Made
Unfortunately I wasn't able to find team members to build this. This is my first hackathon and I never code before today. I started learning today and setting all the software on my laptop but unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge, expertise to create this dapp for this hackathon. This time has opened my eyes on what I need to do in order to leverage blockchain for social impact.
