SRS NFT (Streaming Rent Skin NFT)

Streaming Rent Skin NFTs are a way for users who own aesthetically pleasing NFTs to monetize these by allowing other users to rent them as skins to more functional NFTs. The challenge at the moment is how to make NFTs useful, however form and function didn't quite go together until now. SRS NFT is a way to bring exciting form to real world function by merging ability for users to change the look of their functional NFTs without incurring substantial investment.

The project has been built using the ERC721 standard as well as protocol contributions from Superfluid, for financial streaming, Tellor for pricing, NFTPort for NFT based rental reciepts, IPFS for event logs, Optimism for EVM, Covalent for UI pricing. The project works by enabling a user to bring a custom NFT contract and match that with the Skin NFT contract which has dual meta data i.e. meta data for form and metadata for function. When complying with ERC721 the form metadata is presented when complying with app functionality the function metadata is presented
