How it's Made

Streamtyl streaming application was built using Livepeer SDKs to offer cutting edge video streaming experience. We built an amazing features on the streamtyl platform using the XTMP, SIGN Protocol and Galadriel libraries to offer live chat tipping, verifiable video attestation and AI Assistance which makes it easy streamers/content creators to receive rewards, showcase and monetize their contents. Below is a breakdown on how we used XMTP, Sign Protocol and Galadriel on Streamtyl

XTMP This project leverages the XMTP library to initiate a live chat client in a Next.js application. The client interacts with a tipping bot using the MessagingKit SDK, hosted on a Railway server. This integration allows seamless peer-to-peer tipping during livestream sessions, enabling viewers to send ERC20 tokens to streamers. The chat and tipping functionality is built to enhance user engagement, providing a unique way to reward streamers in real-time.

SIGN PROTOCOL This project leverages the @ethsign/sp-sdk library to integrate Sign Protocol into our Next.js application. The client is used to create schemas for video metadata and to sign attestations for each video upon upload. When a video is being viewed, users can query the video’s attestation directly from the player UI, ensuring that the data is structured, verifiable, and accessible on-chain. This implementation enhances the trust and transparency of video content, aligning with Sign Protocol's mission to enable on-chain attestations and verifiable data retrieval.

GALADRIEL Content creators can enhance their profiles and posts using Galadriel contracts. These enhancements include optimizing posts and bios through the GPT-4 Turbo AI model and generating a gamified profile picture using the DALL-E AI model, which is part of the features Galadriel provides using its Oracle.
