Existing live streaming platforms such as Twitch, Youtube and Douyin in China have high operational costs from centralized servers. They take over 50% of revenue generated from content creators. Furthermore, existing platforms do not support web3.0 projects, for example: Bankless was banned from Youtube last year.
The Eden is a decentralized live streaming platform. Our mission is to become the alternative platform to Twitch for Web3 projects. By using IPFS technology The Eden will minimize operational costs resulting in lower fees to streamers, as well as a transparent platform for Web3.0 users.
How it's Made
The Eden is committed to creating a fully on-chain decentralized live streaming platform. We have created Web3.IM and Web3.stream API modules based on IPFS technology. All projects built on Web3 or using IPFS can use Web3.IM and Web3.stream to achieve real-time communication and live streaming. At the same time, we also provide a live streaming platform for all web3 users and projects. Users and project parties can publish their own content, promote projects, socialize, etc. on The Eden live streaming platform.
