TotemParadox

This project is a web3 game with complete logic on-chain. It utilizes chain-native randomness to generate Totems, the core tool to progress through the game. The built-in co-op feature allows multiple players to participate in the same quest, and each gets their rewards. As the players progress through story quests, they obtain more and more information about the dystopian post-apocalyptic world in which the game takes place. The Totems themselves are NFTs that are supported by multiple assets (different versions of graphic assets as well as supporting metadata). They are also nestable. This allows for the composition of more powerful Totems and, subsequently, an ability to take on harder quests. The resources awarded as rewards upon quest completion will facilitate the crafting of more and more advanced Totems. This means that obtaining a Totem translates to getting the game and being able to play it without restrictions (in web2 terms, you purchased the game). Another revolutionary game mechanic of the game is that the Totem doesn't leave your wallet when taking part in the Quest, but it just becomes non-transferable for its duration, thanks to ERC-6454.

This project uses NFT 2.0 standards developed by RMRK and written by me. They allow NFTs to have multiple assets, be nestable into other tokens, be composable through equipping, be conditionally non-transferable. They use an on-chain attributes repository to power attribute-dependent game mechanics. Minting of Totems uses on-chain randomness to assign Totem elements and ERC-6454 to allow for disabling Totems' transferability while they are participating in Quests. The ERC-1155 resources awarded by the Quests will facilitate the crafting of new Totems, and the Quests are designed to support community-created Quests in the future.
