Project Description

users can securely save/access their password, username to access any application on internet. No need to worry about credentials theft or to forget them, now you can secure your hundreds of username and password with your own wallet private key, you would have 100 % control of it

How it's Made

Problem Statement: Managing your Web2 credentials is always challenging. Breaches and forgotten credentials are common issues.

Technologies Used: We are leveraging MetaMask, AES encryption, blockchain, and decentralized storage.

Partner Technologies:

  • The user’s MetaMask wallet signature is used to securely encrypt the credentials.
  • Moralis IPFS RPC is utilized to store the encrypted credentials on a decentralized database.
  • Hedera Smart Contract Service is employed to issue proof of decentralized security, which can be verified directly by the user.

As we still have few days, we are planning to integrate web3Auth and Nillion partner technologies.

Important to Note:

  • Since the user owns their MetaMask wallet, they have 100% control over their credentials. Without the user's signature, it is impossible to decrypt the credentials.
  • Even without our Trustless-Pass dApp, users can still access their credentials because we issue proof on the Hedera chain containing the IPFS hash of the credentials. With AES and their MetaMask signature, users can recover their credentials independently.
