Project Description
Zora ticketing app is an eent ticketing application. The application allows event organizers to create their events, and fix the pricing for tickets. There are 2 pricing categories for tickets. Event organizers can also state how many tickets that will be available for sale for each ticket tier. Every person has a dedicated page to show the events they have created and are managing. Users can purchase tickets and mint the tickets as NFTs. There is a dedicated page which shows each user the tickets they have purchased
How it's Made
This project was built with Next.js(Typescript), Ethers.js, Web3Modal.js, Web3.js. It required creating 2 smart contracts, 1 to handle the event tickets and the other to mint the tickets as NFTs. The contracts were deployed and verified on Zora using Hardhat. Configuring the app to use Zora was straight forward, as they provide a testnet API without the need for a third party such as Infura or Alchemy. The only tricky part I faced as a first time builder on Zora was incorporating Zora to Hardhat. But there was enough documentation for me to navigate this
